"Epochtober" is an original October art challenge in which the goal is to design a piece of paleoart every day of the month featuring an extinct animal from each of Earth's "epochs", which are large chunks of geologic time.
The Prompt List
This graphic lists all of Earth's "epochs" which are several million year long chunks of our planet's prehistory. The goal of Epochtober was to pick an extinct animal native to each of these time periods to render with scientific accuracy and with a slight horror twist.
